Anna M Latkowski, 91, died peacefully on November 24, 2022, at her home at Kingsway. She was the daughter of Augustine Ruzzo and Alberta (Poltracco) Ruzzo, born January 23, 1931, in Schenectady, NY. Anna graduated from Draper High School and went on to work as an executive secretary at General Electric for 12 years. She married John Latkowski on February 12, 1956 and raised their family together on St. Jude Drive in Rotterdam. They celebrated 50 years of marriage, prior to John’s death in 2007.
Anna loved to read and was a member of the book club at the Woodlawn Library for many years. She also loved to travel and to cook, and this love came through in all the wonderful meals and baked creations for her friends and family. In recent years, her favorite activities were bingo, music, and hanging out with her friends.
Anna has been reunited with her predeceased family members: her parents, her husband John, her son Jeffrey (1984), her daughter Janis (1998), her brothers Auggie, Richard, Pat, and Bert, their wives Arlene (Augustine) and Leola (Richard), and her best friend Sandy Badalucco.
The loved ones here to celebrate her life are her daughter Judy (Robert) Bootier of Largo, FL and Scotia, NY, and her son John A. Latkowski of Columbia, LA. Anna had six grandchildren Michael (Michelle) Segatto, Amy (Joseph) Marinelli, John (Amber) Latkowski, Linda Segatto, Kelly (Bryan) Mattice, and Sara Latkowski. She had seven great-grandchildren: Vincenzo “Vinny” Marinelli, Julian and Braden Mattice, Helen and Joanna Latkowski, and Calvin and Channing “Chanimal” Segatto. She also had many nieces and nephews.
