Ann M. Reohr

December 4, 1938 — March 3, 2024

Ann M. Reohr, 85, passed away at her home on Sunday March 3, 2024 of natural causes.

Born in Niskayuna, NY, Ann was the daughter of the late Reginald and Ruth (Davenport) Martin.

After Ann graduated from St. Joseph’s School, she went on to study nursing, where she received her LPN from The Ellis School of Nursing. She enjoyed a career in nursing at Ellis Hospital. Later in life Ann found much joy driving buses for special needs children.

Throughout her life Ann developed a talent and love for sewing and crafting. She spent many years sharing her creations at craft shows and loved making things for her family and friends. Ann was an avid animal lover, caring for countless pets over the years. During her last days she found comfort in spending time with her cat “Bud” cuddled up on her lap.

Ann was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Gene T. Reohr, her brother James S. Martin, as well as many other more distant relatives.

Ann was survived by her two sisters, Carol (Martin) Andrews and Barbara (Martin) Little, as well as many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held for family only..

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Animal Protective Foundation in Schenectady New York, a cause Ann felt strongly about.
