Angela R. Van De Mark, 87, of Princetown, died Monday morning, January 1, 2024, peacefully at home surrounded by family.
Angela was born on March 22, 1936, in Schenectady to Philip DiMaggio and his wife Levia Farina. She graduated from Nott Terrace High School in 1954 and married her high school sweetheart, Charles Van De Mark in 1957. As life partners, Angela and Charles worked side by side to create a strong family and various successful businesses. She was the co-owner of State Color in Schenectady and Adirondack Licks-N-Sticks in Adirondack, NY.
What she loved most was spending time with family, especially her great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing bridge with her friends in Florida, spending time at Schroon Lake, traveling, and watching Yankee baseball.
Angela was predeceased by her husband Charles. F. Sr. She is survived by daughter Cheryl Van De Mark and spouse Marjorie Futia of New Smyrna Beach, FL; daughter Carolyn Van De Mark and husband Paul DeMarco of Princetown; son Charles F. Van De Mark, Jr. and wife Carrie of Adirondack, NY; grandchildren, Amanda L. Mannato (Christopher), Julia Costello (Anthony), Charles Van De Mark, III (Marissa), Zachary Foote (Jessica), and Molly Rowe (Matthew); great-grandchildren, Cameron and Aria Mannato.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 8, 2024, 9 to 10:30 at Bond Funeral Home, 1614 Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Schenectady, NY.
Internment in St. Cyril’s Cemetery, Rotterdam, NY
