Andrew "Drew" Gero

Andrew "Drew" C. Gero.50, of Schenectady passed away at Ellis Hospital on Wednesday February 22, 2017. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of Joseph Gero (Patty) of Cadyville, NY and the late Marilyn (Ferri) Strange. A dispatcher for Time Warner Cable in Schenectady for the past 8 years.Drew was previously employed in marketing for Proctors Theatre in Schenectady. Drew had a great personality and sense of humor. He lived for his friends and will be greatly missed Besides his father, he is survived by his sister JoAnn Campbell of Scotia, three brothers Roger Gero of Montana, Timothy Gero of Rotterdam and Joseph Gero of Saratoga Springs, his dear friends LaVerne and Dottie, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Andrew's Life will be Wednesday at 3PM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Calling hours will be Wednesday 12-3PM prior to the service. Private burial will be in St. Cyril and Method Cemetery in Rotterdam.
