Alsada M Phinney (Mcadams)

Alsada M. Phinney, 89, passed away at her home on Sunday, September 13, 2015. Born in South Kortright, NY, Alsada was the daughter of the late Oliver and Nellie (Camp) McAdams. Alsada worked for many years as a night cashier at Price Chopper. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Duanesburg. Alsada is predeceased by her first husband, Vernon E. Wood, her second husband, Bob C. Phinney, son, Vernon E. Wood, daughter, Shirley Henness, and sisters, Della Kater, Pearl Osterhaut and Anne. She leaves behind her children, Della M. Scott of Oneonta, Alsada Wilson (Leonard) of Otego, NY, Lois M. Still (Thomas) of Missouri, Barbara L. Tilley (Kenneth) of Lawrence, NY and Gary D. Wood of South Carolina, as well as her sister, Jean Johnson and brothers, Chet McAdams, Oliver McAdams and James McAdams. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services for Alsada will be on Thursday, September 17 at 7:30PM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady.
