Alma Decesare

Alma C. DeCesare, 83, of Crane Street Schenectady died Sunday March 19, 2006 at her daughter's home after a long illness. Alma was born in Schenectady and was the daughter of the late Edward Scrafford and Madge (Hoyt) Scrafford . She was employed as a Secretary for the IUE Local 301 for 10 years. Prior to that, she was employed for the General Electric Company in Schenectady. Alma is predeceased by her husband Sam DeCesare whom she married August 19, 1944 and one daughter Dawn Splawnik. Survivors include one daughter Sandra Billings (Leonard) of Schenectady, one sister Ruth Itzo of Fort Edward, 4 grandchildren-Bonnie Frazer, Lenny Billings, Melissa Splawnik and Christina Sacco, 4 great Grand children Matthew, Jeremy, Dominick and Anthony as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Wednesday evening 7PM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
