Alice R Petter

Alice R. Petter 85 of Schenectady died on Sunday morning January 28, 2007 at Ellis Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility. Born in Putnam, CN, she was the daughter of the late Rev. John and Mabelle Roney. A homemaker, Alice worked for Schenectady Savings Bank in the Safety Deposit Department for many years and had also worked at the General Electric Company. A member of St Stephens Episcopal Church she loved being with her family and taking walks on the beach in Cape Cod. Her husband Richard B. Petter died in 1989 after over 40years of marriage. Survivors include her children, Pamela M. Petter of Schenectady, Amy P. Philio and husband David of Gouldsboro, ME and Jeffrey J. Petter and wife Donna of Schenectady and 6 grandchildren, Aaron, Conor and Mark Petter, Rebecca and Rachel Philio and Meghan Scott and husband Aaron. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday afternoon January 30th at 4 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY. A calling hour will be held at the funeral home from 3 to 4 pm prior to the service. Spring interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville, NY Contributions may be made in Alice's memory to the Capitol District Humane Association, P.O.
