Alice Owen

Alice E. Owen 94 of Wade Lupe Towers died Thursday March 24, 2005 after a short illness. Born in Carbondale, Pa. she was the daughter of the late Chester and Cora ( Waxman Eldred. Alice worked for the General Electric Company for over 35 years before her retirement. She was a member of the Broadway United Methodist Church, the Schenectady Historical Society, Friends of the library and the G.E. ? century Club. Alice was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years George Owen who died in 1991. Survivors include a daughter- in- law, Amelia Lupe Owen of Niskayuna, a brother, Donald Owen of Las Vegas, NV, four grandchildren Steven Owen of Scotia, Amy Parisi of Millersville, MD, Rebecca Owen of Potomac, MD and Jennifer Schuster of Sharon, MA, nine great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. A graveside committal service will be held on Monday March 28, 2005 at 11 am at Schenectady Memorial Park, Gifford's Church Rd., Rotterdam, NY. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Huntington Disease Research, 158 West 29th Street, 7th Floor, N.Y.,N.Y. 10001. Arrangements are by Bond Funeral Home, Schenectady, NY
