Alice Hanlon

Alice M. Hanlon 89 formerly of Rotterdam died Monday evening September 11, 2006 at Guilderland Center Nursing Home. Born in Amsterdam, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Laura (Scramp) Hanlon. Alice work for General Electric for over 25 years then went to work for New York State Department of Motor Vehicles in Albany for 15 years before retiring. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and a former member of the Knights of Columbus. Alice is survived by a nephew, Richard Russell and his wife Marilyn of Des Moines, WA and several other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 15,2006 11a.m. at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery Mausoleum,2501 Troy-Schenectady Road, Niskayuna. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. There will be no calling hours by request. Contributions may be made in Alice's memory to Catholic Charities, Agent Service Program, 118 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12308.
