Alice R Glindmyer

Alice I.Glindmyer, 84, formerly of Mechanic Street Ballston Spa died Monday August 29, 2005 at Maplewood Manor in Ballston Spa. Alice was born in Champlain, NY and was the daughter of the late Jacobson Killas and Bertha (Cheeseman) Killas. She was employed as a Lab Worker at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, retiring in 1997. Alice was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Scotia. She served as a volunteer in the Soup Kitchen at the Church. Alice was a member of the Women of the Moose #251 and Ladies Auxiliary of the Eagles. She was predeceased by her husband Willard Glindmyer whom she married May 30, 1956. Alice is survived by one son Peter Glindmyer(Robin) of Ballston Spa and 3 grandchildren Michael Glindmyer, Ryan Glindmyer, and Christopher Glindmyer. Funeral Services will be Friday at 12noon at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schencectady. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be Thursday evening 5-7PM at the Funeral Home. Internment will be in Vale Cemetery in Schenectady.
