Alice B. Chapadeau 72 of Rotterdam Junction died Wednesday morning May 9, 2007 at home surronded by her family. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Roxanne ( Farnsworth) Dykeman. Alice worked for Key Bank in Bellvue for many years before retiring. She later worked at the Rotterdam Square Mall for several years at Prime Time where she enjoyed working the lottery machine. She was an avid bowler and a member of the Woestina Women's Bowling league and enjoyed going to the casinos. Alice was predeceased in 1986 by her husband of 25 years Thomas R. Chapadeau and was also predeceased by her twin sister Joyce Tuft. Survivors include her son Donald L. Chapadeau (Anita) of Scotia, her sister Shirley J. DeLuca of Rotterdam Jct., her half brothers Robert Barrie of Nevada and Lindy and Paul Barrie both of California, two grandchildren, Nicole Reuter and Christopher Chapadeau ,five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning May 12, 2007 at 10 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway& Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm. Interment in Schenectady Memorial Park, In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Community Hospice, 1411 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12308 or to a charity of ones choice. The family would like to extend their deep appreciation to Dr. Rana Jacob, Upstate Hematology Oncology, Dr. Smith and staff from the radiation department, Community Hospice and Doris Slager, Betty Zappia and Maryann Margiotta
