Alice Anderson

Alice Anderson 93 of Colonie, died Saturday morning March 24, 2007 at The Avenue Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Hattie (Sachs) Van Patten; Alice had worked for several years at the Fireside Gift Shop in Colonie. She was a member of the Woodlawn Reformed Church, the Colonie Senior Citizen's and a former Cub Scout Assistant. Alice was predeceased by he husband Ellwood L. Anderson and her brother Arthur Van Patten. Survivors include her sons, Robert F. Anderson and wife Beverly of Schenectady and Douglas E. Anderson and wife Joanne of Rotterdam, five grandchildren Stacy DiStefano (Lorenzo), Kimberly Nuzzi (Anthony), Deborah Collins (Dan), Sharon Larson (Craig) and Robert Anderson Jr. (Karen) and twelve great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning March 28, 2007 at 9:30 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 pm. Interment in Memory's Garden.
