Albert Kenfield

Albert E. Kenfield 79 of Rotterdam died Thursday morning December 22, 2005 at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Rotterdam he was the son of the late Clifford and Katherine (Van Natten) Kenfield and the husband of Ethel (Clough) Kenfield who he married in 1948. Albert worked for the Knolls Atomic Power Laboratories in Niskayuna for over 39 years before his retirement in 1986. A WWII army veteran, Albert was a member of the ? century of the General Electric, the Graceway Ministries and a life member of VFW Post 1895 in Rotterdam. Beside his wife Ethel, Albert is also survived by 9 children, Albert R. Kenfield(Debi) , Danny K. Kenfield (Holly) , Jeffrey M. Kenfield (Dina) , Janet A. Boniecki ( Harold) ,Nancy L. Thomas ( Leonard) all of Rotterdam, Marilyn V. Sweet ( Wayne ) of Burtonville, Robin A. Deery ( Walter ) of Leominster, MA, Tammy L. Maslanka ( Ronald ) and Gail L. Norton ( Michael) both of Schenectady, 22 grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning December 27, 2005 at 10 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home Monday evening from 7 to 9 pm. Interment with full military honors will be in Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his name to Community Hospice, 1411 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12309
