Agnes C. Durocher, 82, passed away early on Tuesday, April 14th, 2015 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Schenectady, Agnes was the daughter of the late Frederick and Mary (Dunn) Hesler. A graduate of Mont Pleasant High School and St. Peter's Hospital School of Nursing, Agnes worked as the RN night supervisor at Glendale Nursing Home for many years. Agnes was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church and was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Agnes was predeceased in February by her beloved husband, Arthur C. Durocher, whom she was married to for 59 years. She is also predeceased by her siblings Joseph Hesler, James Hesler, Frederick Hesler, Charles Hesler, Edward Hesler, William Hesler, Elizabeth Mott, Mary Ryan and Jean Hesler. Agnes leaves behind her children, Mary Hooshmand (late Nader) of Boca Raton, FL, Kathleen Derochie of Rotterdam, Dorothy Clemente of Clifton Park, Jean Crutchfield (Kevin) of Boscawen, NH, Anne Adams of Scotia, Joan Rumfelt (Charles) of Scotia, Robert Durocher (Pamela) of Rotterdam, James Durocher of Scotia, Patrick Durocher (Catie) of Boca Raton, FL, and Frederick Durocher (Kelly) of Schenectady, her siblings, Thomas Hesler (Rita) of Guilderland, Ann Nealon (late Jack) of Schenectady and Dorothy Hesler of Schenectady, and sister-in-laws, Evelyn Hesler and Cathy Hesler. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. A prayer service will be held on Friday, April 17 at 8:15am at Bond Funeral Home, 1614 Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY 12306, followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 9am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 210 Princetown Rd., Rotterdam, NY 12306. A visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5-8pm at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
